Are hard surface cleaners ok to use on chrome-plated surface?
Swiffer Yes. Swiffer can be used to dust the surface.
Spic & Span 3 in 1 Yes. Spray on surface, then wipe with a paper towel or lint-free cloth/rag.
Comet Bathroom Yes. Surface can be cleaned and wiped with a damp cloth.
Mr. Clean Yes. Rinse if necessary.
Spic & Span Powder Yes. Use diluted as recommended on package.
Comet with Bleach No. If used on chrome, rinse immediately with water.
Can Comet Disinfecting Bathroom cleaner cause filming of surfaces?
Filming of surfaces can occur if product has been allowed to dry on surface and has been mixed with soap scum or hard water stains. Filming can also occur if product and soil has not been completely removed when wiping surface with sponge or paper towel.
To remove film, reapply product and spread evenly on surface working in a small area (9 tiles for example). Allow it to sit on surface up to 5 minutes and then wipe with DAMP CLOTH OR RAG. Rinse.
What is the animal fat content of hard surface cleaners?
Our hard surface cleaning products which are manufactured and sold in the United States do not contain animal fat, nor ingredients derived from animal fat.
What products are suitable to use on ceramic tile?
NOTE: Unglazed ceramic tile is easily stained. Such tiles should be sealed to prevent staining.

Is Comet ok to use on acrylic fixtures?
Comet Disinfectant Bathroom Cleaner Yes. However, be sure to use plenty of water and rub gently, then rinse.

What products are ok to use to clean interior of self cleaning oven?
Self cleaning ovens are coated with special materials which could be affected by certain cleaning products. Refer to care manual for cleaning recommendations.
What is the pH of Febreze?
The pH for the Professional Febreze Fabric Refresher - Deep Penetrating Ready to use is 4-5

"pH" is the measurement used to determine the acidity or alkalinity of an item. To measure pH, moisture must be present, so the measurements of pH will be reported "in solution."
"pH" is measured on a scale of 0-14. A pH below 7 is acidic, over 7 is alkaline and 7 is neutral. Cleaning products are usually alkaline because soils are generally acidic and require an alkaline solution to remove them.
What products are ok to use on Pergo® Flooring or laminate?
(Pergo® is not real wood. It is a laminate material and is used for floors.)
Swiffer Wet & Dry Cloths,Mr. Clean Professional All Purpose Floor Cleaner and PG ProLine Disinfecting Floor & Surface Cleaner II. Diluted per package instructions. Damp mop. Usually no need to rinse.
What products are ok to use on plexiglass?
Swiffer can be used on plexiglass to dust the surface or to remove particulate soil, such as crumbs, hair.
Spic & Span 3 in 1 Yes. Spray on surface, then wipe with a lint-free cloth/rag. Paper towels can scratch surface.
Comet Disinfecting Spray w/Bleach Yes.
What products are ok to use on porcelain enamel?
Swiffer Yes. Swiffer can be used to dust the surface. We do not anticipate any problems using Swiffer on this surface.
