P&G Professional Supporting Gender Equality in the Foodservice Industry
P&G Professional played a prime role at this year’s Annual Leadership Development Conference, hosted by Women’s Foodservice Forum, offering educational sessions, motivational speakers, and nominating our own Senior Category Account Executive for the WFF Change Maker designation.
P&G’s Deanna Bass, Executive Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion, shared her message, Women at Work – Myth vs. Reality, to over 3,000 attendees, including hundreds of c-suite executives.
P&G Professional also sponsored Becky Hammon, two-time Olympian, one of the top 15 WNBA players of all time, and the first ever female full-time NBA assistant coach, to tell her story of risk and resiliency in a male-dominated organization. She is also featured in Nike’s latest campaign, Dream Crazier.
And also exciting, was our very own Ola Idzikowska being designated a WFF Change Maker – an individual with tremendous potential, a proven track record of business results while modeling inclusive leadership behaviors that support gender equality.
“We are proud to partner with Becky Hammon and the Women’s Foodservice Forum to help motivate and inspire people throughout the industry. Becky’s story is one of strength, growth and perseverance, which pairs perfectly with P&G’s commitment to diversity, gender equality, and doing the right thing. Bringing her story to the Women’s Foodservice Forum is a great honor for us,” Paul Edmondson, PGP Americas Commercial Director.
“This year’s Conference theme is LIMITLESS!, and Amy Purdy is our theme, personified,” said Hattie Hill, WFF President & CEO. “I’m excited for her to share her journey and insight, reminding our Conference audience that there are truly no limits when a woman is determined, motivated, focused and fierce!”
Conference is an immersive leadership development experience where nearly 3,000 women connect with and learn from industry influencers, experts and each other. Most notably, this annual event provides a unique opportunity for major-brand food industry companies, who are competitors, to collaborate to accelerate gender equity and make the food industry the employer of choice.
