P&G Professional™, the away-from-home division of Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG),was recently awarded “Vendor of the Year” by El Pollo Loco for their Cleaning and Food Safety Program. P&G Professional was chosen from more than 100 supplier partners for their program’s effectiveness, which contributed to a 12.9-point improvement in El Pollo Loco’s cleanliness score in Nation’s Restaurant News and WD Partners’ second annual “Consumer Picks” survey. P&G Professional’s customized Cleaning and Food Safety Program also helped deliver bottom line savings to El Pollo Loco.

Since partnering with P&G Professional, El Pollo Loco improved in nearly all categories of the “Consumer Picks” survey. For example, its reputation rating improved by 9.9 points, the service rating went up by 4.7 points, their atmosphere rating improved by 4.0 points, and the restaurant’s overall score improved by 5.8 points.
